Carpet Cleaning
Besides the obvious fact that your carpet looks amazing when clean; Cleaning your carpet prolongs the life of your investment in your property. It is recommended for you to clean your carpet at least once every twelve months. You can improve the air quality in your home by removing allergens in the fibers that could potentially be harmful to you and your loved ones.
Our Process
- Our first step is to inspect your carpet. Once we have completed this process we proceed with vacuuming the area.
- Our third step is to pre-spray your carpet. We allow the solution to sit for a few minutes. By allowing the solution to sit, we are able to penetrate further down into the fibers. The soil can now begin to break up apart.
- Then we continue with our next step, we use our carpet scrubber to agitate tough stains and/or high foot traffic areas. By agitating the carpet this allows us to obtain high quality results.
- Lastly, we use of hot water extraction to rinse your carpet. Then afterwards we began to place air movers throughout your home. This allows us to speed up dry times and ensure proper ventilation.

Moving Furniture: We do not move furniture exceeding 40 lbs. We are not held liable for damages that may result from moving furniture, whether to your furniture or your home or facility. If you elect to move your furniture, please do so prior to our arrival.
Pets: Pet urine is an issue of the carpet, pad and subfloor. Carpet cleaning alone will not remove pet urine. We cannot guarantee you complete odor/stain removal when doing a pet urine treatment. Additional treatment may be required. Please place your pet(s) in safe location while we are servicing your home. Our technicians will try to remove your pet(s) hair but cannot guarantee 100% removal.
Traffic Lanes: Traffic lanes occur for several reasons: fabric wear, black sole shoe stains, asphalt, pH staining, embedded soils. We cannot guarantee you complete traffic lane soil removal, but we can guarantee you we will try our best to give you optimal results!
Dry Time: There are several contributing factors that affect dry time: level of moisture, level of humidity, air movement and thickness of carpet. Heavily soiled carpet requires additional water, which increases dry time. Average dry time may be from 24-72hrs.
Results: Results may vary. SCM cannot guarantee you the removal of all soils, spots and stains from your carpet (70-90% carpet restoration).
